Intissar Baiz
Casablanca-based young designer Intissar Baiz distinguished herself by winning the first prize at the Casamoda Academy with a silicone dress, overstitched fabric, and deconstructed trench coat. She also participated in the 11th International Festival of African Fashion (FIMA) in 2018 and was a finalist in the 2020 edition of Fashion Trust Arabia with her collection “Jazzazousape,” an African creation inspired by the Sapeurs and Zazous. Since then, she has established her workshop in Marrakech, where she collaborates with Eric Gaffour, owner of Tiss’Art, a boutique offering quality fabrics including materials such as silk and wool.
