Originally from South Sudan, she is studying in Morocco through our partner AMCI under the auspices of His Excellency Simo Methqal. She began her modeling career at the International Festival of Young Talents in Africa Afrifata, being noticed by Vogue Magazine and Balmain.

Hicham Lahlou, a well-known figure who chaired the jury in previous editions and provided the design for the Afrifata trophy, once again answers the call for the 3rd edition as a jury member.
We are honored to have had Mouna El Mansouri as the patron for the 3rd edition of our event. As a patron, she not only brought unparalleled inspiration but also shared with us her iconic creations during our fashion show. In addition to her illustrious career in the fashion industry, Mouna El Mansouri is also a healthcare professional, holding a doctorate. Her presence among us added a unique dimension to our event, blending expertise, creativity, and dedication. Her support and participation have been invaluable to us, and we are grateful to have had her by our side.

Congratulations to Virginie Chevalier for her remarkable success at Afrifata. It is also important to note that Virginie participated in the first edition of the Afrifata Academy, which took place in November 2023 in France for the first time. This early experience in the academy undoubtedly contributed to her artistic and professional development.
