She is behind the African Fashion Talent (AFRIFATA) festival, the second edition of which took place in Casablanca, Morocco. “With the Afrifata festival, I wanted to demonstrate that it was possible to be united, to share, to transmit,” the Moroccan stylist told BBC. “African fashion is not just about textiles; it is also a story, an African wealth that should be recognized,” she added. For this second edition, Zaneib El Kadiri invited around ten African designers, including Adama Paris from Senegal and Parfait Ikouba from Cameroon.
